Reporting Issues#

Issues while using the OpenComputing Lab fall into one of two categories:

  • Issues with running the software provided by the Virtual Computing Environment.

  • Issues with accessing the OpenComputing Lab, launching Virtual Computing Environments, or stopping Virtual Computing Environments.

Issues running Software provided by the Virtual Computing Environment#

Please report these to your tutor or to the relevant forum provided by your module. The OpenComputing Lab cannot provide support for these issues, as the content of the Virtual Computing Environments is configured by module teams.

Issues accessing, launching, or stopping Virtual Computing Environments#

Please report these to opencomputinglab@open.ac.uk. Please include your OCL user id in the report. To find your OCL user id, click on your name in the OpenComputing Lab menubar (see Fig. 12).
